Fly Pattern Submissions
Please take a few moments to read this before you start……..
You can add fly patterns here, no registering required or anything like that. Simply fill in the boxes below as required, just leave out any boxes that do not apply, for example if the fly has no thorax or tail, leave these boxes blank.
The comments box is for any relevant information you want to add about the fly, tying instructions, tying techniques, fishing techniques - really whatever you want.
If you choose to add your name this will appear along with the pattern, you don't have to though if you would rather remain anonymous.
If you are including a photo, or photos, please tick the I am Including Photo(s) box and you will be guided how to do this when you click the submit button.
Some Notes:
Your submission will not appear straight away, it has to be enabled by the administrator, sadly, as ever, this is necessary to stop abuse by the sad minority. You can submit as many pictures as you like but bear the following in mind. Try to keep the size at 640 x 480 or below - the system will automatically thumbnail them and users can view the bigger pictures by clicking the thumbnails. The picture you submit first will be the main picture for the fly and will appear first, so make this the finished article. If you want to include a tying sequence, submit these pictures after the first one and in sequence. You can also add captions to the photo(s). The patterns do not have to be unique or your own, the only way the database will build is if everyone adds a few flies.
If you get no error messages and are returned to this page, you submission has been a success
Good luck, if reading this we hope you will post a few fly patterns, don't worry, you can't do any damage. Just have a go!
Please note that if you have an activation code then your
entry will show straight away, if not it will have
to be enabled by the site administrator. You do not
need to have this to submit a fly, it is just an aid for the administrator!
